May it Please Be Warm Now!

We Michiganders go through the same thing every year this time of the year—crazy teases of spring mixed with reminders that Michigan doesn’t want to let go of winter yet. As I sit and write this letter, I am hoping, in a couple of weeks, when May issue is out on the shelves, that it will finally be warm and riding season will be in full swing. Unlike yesterday, which brought us 4 inches of snow in the middle of April! So come on, Michigan, let’s spring into action.

The events are pouring in — there are many to choose from this month and many to mark on your calendars. Check out the pull-out calendar for our advertisers’ events. Also, get ready to ride (or drive or float, as all vehicles now welcome to participate) in the 6th Annual Michigan Thunder Run Ride ’n Win Contest that will be starting soon! This is a summer-long contest (actually running from June thru September) where you can win prizes just for checking in at the Ride ’n Win Stops. We’ll have the complete listing of where you can go to get your FREE Ride card as well as the places to check in for each month…all coming up in the June issue. We will give you a heads-up prior to the kick-off on the Thunder Roads Michigan Facebook page. Make sure to like us so you can keep up-to-date on this as well as each month’s entire list of many, many winners! If you have a biker friendly establishment or a suggestion for one, please email me at Editor@ThunderRoadsMichigan.com and we will check it out.

Be sure to like Thunder Roads Magazine of Michigan on Facebook to keep up-to-date with the latest happenings.
