Letter From The Owners – October 2026

SEPTEMBER TO REMEMBER!

Well… September to remember is an understatement!

As our crazy-busy season starts coming to an abrupt stop, Aly and I are looking forward to doing something we don’t get to do nearly enough, which is getting away for a little one-on-one time together.

Our summer schedule is always chaotic, but in the best possible way. Between rallies, bike nights, events, magazine deadlines, traveling, and all the amazing people we get to meet along the way, the months just seem to fly by. And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.  But as much as we love being on the go, Aly and I do need to hit the pause button every now and then. So, with the riding season winding down and another trip around the sun for me this October, Aly decided to call my bluff and take some time off work so we can “just get away.”  It won’t be far, and it won’t be for long, but it’s definitely needed. And if you know us, you already know there’s a pretty good chance motorcycles will somehow be involved!

BUT BEFORE WE SLOW DOWN… WHAT A SEASON!

Seriously, WOW!

September was packed with those moments that remind us why we love doing what we do and, more importantly, why we love being part of this motorcycle community.

This year marked the 25th anniversary of remembering the lives lost on that tragic day forever known as 9/11. It’s hard to believe how much time has passed, but every year we come together to remember, honor, and never forget.

We also wrapped up our final Bike Night at Vehicle City Harley-Davidson, and what a way to finish things off! One very lucky and very grateful rider walked away with the 2007 Dyna Low Rider!

AND we hosted the 19th Annul Bike Show at Bikes on the Bricks too!

If you were there, you know what I mean when I say these events are about so much more than motorcycles. They’re about the people. The conversations. The laughs. The friendships. The folks you might not have known six months ago who now feel like old friends.  That’s the part we love most.

Then, back in late August, we had the privilege of attending the 4th Annual Wyld Stallions Motorcycle Build where we were the announcing MC and entertainment for the event where another winner was selected by public vote, and where numerous winners took home trophies from the Owosso Vintage Motorcycle Days. Once again, the support and turnout were incredible.

And that brings us to the BIG one… OCTOBER 3RD!

That’s when we’ll randomly draw the winners of the 2026 Ride N’ Win Contest!

And I have to tell you, we still can’t quite wrap our heads around the fact that we were part of giving away TWO Harley-Davidson motorcycles this year!

Two! That’s crazy!

By the time you’re reading this, someone will already be the proud new owner of the 2004 Softail Deuce from Steel Horse Ranch, along with some seriously awesome prizes from Insomnia Bagger Audio, Twisted Illusions Lighting, and Traction Powersports.

And while there may be only a few card numbers randomly chosen, we hope everyone who participated feels like they were part of it. Because without the riders, readers, businesses, sponsors, event organizers, and friends who continue to support what we do, none of this happens.

You show up.

You ride.

You share our posts.

You come to the events.

You tell your friends.

You support the businesses that support our motorcycle community.

And you keep this whole crazy thing rolling.

For that, Aly and I are genuinely grateful.

NOW, LET’S CONGRATULATE A COUPLE OF WINNERS!

First up, a HUGE congratulations to Linda, winner of the 2007 Dyna Low Rider, thanks to Vehicle City Harley-Davidson in Flint!

And congratulations to Jeff H., winner at the Wyld Stallions Motorcycle Build, sponsored by Michigan Biker Law!

Congratulations to you both!

We love seeing the smiles, the disbelief, and that “Holy crap… I actually won!” moment when someone’s name gets called. Those are the moments we’ll remember long after the bikes are delivered and the pictures have been taken.

And now…  It’s time to do it all over again.

October 3rd is coming, and there’s another motorcycle and some incredible prizes waiting for their new owners.  Will it be you?  You never know. That’s the fun of it!

So, keep riding. Keep showing up. Keep supporting each other. Keep making those miles count because at the end of the day, the people we meet and the memories we make are the real reason we do all of this.

Thanks for riding along with us.

We’ll see you out there on Michigan’s Thunder Roads!
