And just like that, we’re already halfway through another riding season. Well, that’s basing it off our event schedule anyway. Most would say, the riding season starts in April and wraps up at the end of September. With Michigan, we just never know. We can ride on Christmas and St Patrick’s Day!
Every year, we promise ourselves that we’ll be better prepared. Yet, time and again, the events, rallies, and magazine deadlines catch us off guard, leaving us in a frenzy to appear as if we have everything under control, lol. However, this year, we are incredibly fortunate to have an amazing team of volunteers and helpers who have alleviated much of the pressure on RJ and me. Volunteering isn’t always glamorous; it often involves long hours, braving unpredictable weather, and staying late to tidy up after the crowds have dispersed, whether heading home or to the after parties. We would like to take a moment to convey our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has come forward to support us on this journey thus far. We have had the joy of meeting many genuinely amazing people. And when they say, “Whatever you need” they truly mean it. Our team is expanding, and we want to emphasize how much we rely on each and every one of you. We couldn’t achieve this growth without you.
With the Rendezvous Rally, Bike Bash, and the Great Lakes H.O.G Rally behind us in June, we still have a lot of fun at work to be had. Our 2025 Thunder Roads Michigan Magazine Bike Nights have been a blast and hosting them in uncharted territory for us has allowed us to meet so many new people and make new friends! This month we hope you’ll join us at the Farming Bikers Mystery Ride, Rebel Road Muskegon, our Thunder Roads Michigan Bike Show at Friday Night Bikes in Lapeer, and for our 4th Annual Ride to Labadie Rib Fest from Holeshot H-D to Veterans Memorial Park in Bay City. Plus, all the bike nights and rides we can squeeze in between! See you on Michigan’s Thunder Roads!
